We had hats galore to celebrate the start of Royal Ascot, at our "afternoon tea" meeting in June.  A wonderful selection of homemade cakes were enjoyed, together with scones made by the committee, and sandwiches provided by our venue. 

 

We were randomly assigned to tables on arrival to encourage everyone to socialise and had to answer ice-breaker questions about our first job and secret vices - red wine seemed to feature heavily here!

Quiz rounds on hats, tea and the Royal family got our grey cells working, and we rounded off with a best hat competition.
